The 15th Annual 2017 Interfaith Health & Hope Luncheon
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Interfaith Health & Hope Coalition, thank you to everyone that contributed to the success of the 2017 Prayer Luncheon at the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday, October 26.
Comments from participants included:
"We really enjoyed participating and enjoyed the speakers. They had a lot of great information and I was impressed at how cohesive their various messages were, especially Dr. Gladstone."
"A couple of our staff at Volunteers of America MI, Health Profession Opportunity Grant attended, we were impressed by the quality speakers and were able to make some more connections with those in the health community."
"It was another informative and encouraging Interfaith Coalition Luncheon - thank you ever so much. Where does the time go - hard to believe that this was the 15th Annual, and each one seems to get better."
IHHC would also like to thank the many sponsors, who contributed both resources and people to the event, and especially our presenting sponsor HAP. We had more than 100 people in attendance who represented more than 75 organizations.
Obvious heartfelt thanks to our speakers and panel members, including Dr. Anna Gladstone, who delivered a passionate keynote as well as Joy D. Calloway, New Center Community Services; Shari-Beth Goldman, Jewish Family Services; Barbara Locke, Community Health Awareness Group; Alexander Plum, The Global Health Initiative HFHS; and Carrie Rheingans, Washtenaw Health Initiative. Also thanks for the efforts by the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church Health Ministry Team.
Lastly, thank you to the many participants who chose to offset the cost of the meal with an on-site contribution. IHHC would also welcome checks or money orders
from anyone who would rather make a free-will donation using the address below.
